How close to the water are the cottages?

Very close! The shoreline of Tracadie Bay is only a two- to three-minute walk from the cottages. Guests can enjoy easy access to the water, scenic views, beachcombing, kayaking, and exploring the natural shoreline.

Please note that this is a natural bay shoreline and not a designated public swimming beach. Several beautiful public beaches, including Stanhope Beach and Brackley Beach, are only a short drive away.

How far are you from Charlottetown and the airport?

We are approximately 25 minutes from Charlottetown and only 17 minutes from Charlottetown Airport.

How far are you from Cavendish and other popular tourist attractions?

Cavendish is approximately 35 minutes away. We are also conveniently located near many of Prince Edward Island’s most popular destinations, including North Rustico, Stanhope Beach, Brackley Beach, Dalvay by the Sea, Covehead Harbour Lighthouse, Prince Edward Island National Park, and more.

Are there any national parks nearby?

Yes. Prince Edward Island National Park is only a 10-minute drive away. North Rustico Beach is approximately 34 minutes away, and Cavendish Beach is about 40 minutes away.

Are you close to a golf course?

Yes! Stanhope Golf & Country Club is just a 10-minute drive from the cottages.

Do you provide canoes, kayaks, or other watercraft?

No, we do not provide watercraft. However, guests are welcome to bring their own. There is a convenient launch area at the end of Queen’s Point Road.

Please note that guests participate in all water and recreational activities at their own risk. Tracadie Cottages assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents, injuries, or incidents arising from recreational activities on the water.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all cottages for our guests’ convenience.

Is parking included?

Yes. Complimentary on-site parking is included with your stay.

Do the cottages have air conditioning and heating?

Yes. Each cottage is equipped with a heat pump that provides both air conditioning and heating. Additional electric heaters are also available to ensure your comfort during cooler weather.

Do you provide bedding, towels, and linens?

Yes. All cottages include bed linens, pillows, bath towels, and basic household essentials for your convenience.

For beach use, we provide one beach towel per guest. Guests are encouraged to bring additional beach towels, particularly for use at the red sand beaches, as the sand can be difficult to remove from fabric.

Do you supply food and beverages?

No. Like most cottage rentals, guests are responsible for supplying their own food and beverages.

Each cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker, and kettle for your convenience.

Do you provide barbecues?

Yes. Each cottage is equipped with a propane BBQ and BBQ utensils for guest use.

Can I arrive after check-in hours?

Yes. Guests may arrive after the standard check-in time of 3:00 PM. We offer flexible self-check-in options for late arrivals.

We kindly ask that guests notify us in advance if they expect to arrive late so that we can ensure a smooth check-in process and provide any necessary arrival information.

Are the cottages pet-friendly?

Unfortunately, we no longer allow pets. We are committed to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and allergy-friendly environment for all guests.

Guests who bring an undisclosed pet onto the property may be required to leave without refund and may be prohibited from future stays. Additional cleaning or damage-related charges may also apply.
